How much water are you actually drinking?
Both adults and kids, tend to be less active in winter and be less hydrated. It can be more difficult to notice when your body is sweating, under all the extra layers and with the drier, less humid air.
Your body depends on water to survive as well as regulate essential everyday functions.
Every time you breathe, perspire, urinate or have a bowel movement, water is lost. You get the game. For this reason, and vitalistic body function, it is super important to replenish your body’s water.
Skimping on your daily quota of liquids can often be mistaken for hunger, leading to cravings.
Other signs of dehydration to be mindful of include thirst, flushed skin, dark colored urine, dry or sticky mouth, headache, muscle cramps, dizziness, dry skin, and rapid breathing or heart rate.
